These photos were taken in the morning on the day I made the lamb shank stew. It was a bright sunny morning, with wonderful lights shining outside, begging to be captured. So I knew it was the best time to shoot the portobello and swiss brown mushrooms which I bought the day before, specially to be photographed, as they looked so fresh and firm at Village Grocer, pleading me to take them home! I didn’t want to put the mushrooms to waste after photographing, so I had to come up with dishes to cook! The portobello mushrooms ended up in lunch for yesterday – linguine in spicy tomato sauce with grilled vegetables, and the swiss browns in the lamb shank stew.
The photos were shot with my Canon EOS 5D with a Tilt shift 90 mm f/2.8, without any filters, and mostly unedited, except for the second photo (a tiny tweak of the white balance and contrast). I am so amazed with the sharpness and details the lens can capture!
Enjoy the view!
