Cooking Heals is created by Sce-Hwai PHANG (more popularly known as CY, that’s how her name Sce-Hwai is pronounced), who is passionate about food, photography, and everything that links them together…Cooking therapy is certainly healing, and what excites her most, is seeing her creations immortalized in photographs.
This blog was migrated from another blog with the similar name and the fun continues with tantalizing recipes CY created in her own kitchen or when she is traveling. It will be updated from time to time, only when she has time to prepare and photograph her creations!
If you do try out the recipes, let her know the outcome, so that she knows whether they work or fail!
She is no Nigella Lawson, but she certainly treats her food creations and photography with zestful passion!

Thanks for your comments. I think the basic starting point is to have a portfolio of your styling work and set up a website or blog to document your work, credentials and services. Most food stylists in Malaysia mostly work on their own or freelance, not attaching to any companies, or they set up their own companies. I have had quite a number of clients who found me on the internet via my blog or company website, or through referrals of ad agencies and photographers.
